Axiom Monitoring & Evaluation ("Axiom ME", "we") is committed to protecting the personal data of website visitors, clients, and the individuals who participate in the research we conduct. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we safeguard it.

Who we are

Axiom Monitoring and Evaluation Ltd is registered in Kenya (CPR/2012/76301) with offices in Nairobi, Mogadishu, Hargeisa, Sanaʿa, Aden and France. For any data-protection question, contact us at info@me-axiom.com.

Website data we collect

When you contact us through this website, we collect the information you submit - typically your name, organisation, email, phone number, country of operation and message. We use it solely to respond to your inquiry and to scope potential assignments. We do not sell or rent this information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Our website is a static site and does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Field research & programme data

In the course of monitoring and evaluation assignments we collect data from beneficiaries, key informants and communities - including survey responses, interview transcripts, GPS-referenced submissions and photographic evidence. This data is collected under the instruction of, and on behalf of, the commissioning client, and is governed by the contract and data-sharing agreement for each assignment.

We apply informed consent, data minimisation, and protection-sensitive procedures (including safeguarding and PSEA standards). Personally identifiable information is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-restricted, and identifiers are removed or pseudonymised before analysis wherever the assignment permits.

How we store and protect data

Field data is captured on secure digital platforms with in-form validation, audit trails and encrypted storage. Access is limited to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis. Deliverables and underlying datasets remain the confidential property of the commissioning client and are retained or destroyed according to the terms of each engagement.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law and to the terms of the relevant client engagement, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. To make a request, email info@me-axiom.com.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The date above indicates when it was last revised.
